++Life on "Home"++
++Sumarized Plot++
10 races aboard the A.P., or "Home," have one representative on the Panel. The current Panel members are stepping down from their position soon and a successor for each race must be chosen. Play life out on "Home" as they search for new habitable planets and try to make do in the mean time.
++Detailed Plot and Summary++
By the year 5000 one hopes life would be easier. But, there would be no story if this was true. Life is a very cruel author, constantly tormenting its billions of characters. Its sadistic nature ensures that there will always be a story to be told...At least until it kills everything. But, I digress...
Our story begins in the year 5000. Life on other planets was discovered over two millenia ago. We now know there are at least 9 other forms of life. Between planets on the brink of their own death and their habitants ignorance we've had to evacuate all of our home planets. Now, a thousand years after the evacuation, our decendents are still searching for a new organic planet to call home. Where are they now? Look for yourself...
The Artificial Planet (The A.P.), or "Home" as it's commonly referred to, is a strange bulbous creation around one Common "planet".The Common connects all of the other "planets" together and moves "Home" around. Those holes you see on its surface, tucked between the other "planets," are actually exhausts where bursts of chemicals are released propelling Tthe A.P. in the proper direction. Advanced computers scan planets and use probes that had been sent out years ago to find possible habitable planets. Technicians control which exhausts are used at a time. Those in The A.P. are surprisingly unaffected by the extreme bursts of energy.
The theory is that a "planet" can just detach from the Common and handle transportation on its own since they have been preparing for it. The problem is that only detaching one would completely throw off the balance and it would end badly for those still on "Home." Two need to be detached at once to keep "Home" balanced. With the distance between each planet and the amount of planets out there, it's nearly impossible to find one. Finding two is like a fantasy book, something that'll never happen.
I'm sure you're dieing to know what's in the Common. You won't be held in suspense any longer.
It's rather simple, but that's all you need to know. The Common Air ventelation system reffered to the green house used to create oxygen and then a system of vents to transport the air around the Common. The air is made to be semi-compatible with most of the races. For those that need more or less oxygen, they use air tanks when in the Common to prevent ill health side-affects. The maintenence refers to what makes everything tick essentially.
All of the others are the "planets" of life. Humans reside in one and so on. Each is designed to mimic their natural world. Each group attempts to be as self efficient as possible. Each race is free to interact with each other as long as they follow these simple rules.
1) Do not kill anyone.
2) Do not harm anyone except in cases of defense.
3) Do not harm the workings of The A.P. in any way.
4) Do not steal from anyone.
Each race has a representative that makes various decisions as a panel. Those currently on the Panel are growing old and it will be time for them to step down soon. Now, the decision of who their successor will be has to be named. How will their chosen react? Will it be during their reign that the right planets are found?
++RP Rules++
1) Have fun.
2) Please be original with your characters, I don't want everyone to have the same personality...having the same race would be worse.
3) Essentially, each character is a different possible successor to the Pannel, if there's more than one from the same race then please talk it out between each other and have them act accordingly.
4) Yes, you may make up races. Don't forget that there are only 10 and humans are one of them. I will make a list of all of them and the details of each (save humans because of obvious reasons). If you've made one up include pictures and/or a thourough description of their general behavior and appearance.
5) Use my profile. Failure to use it properly will result in a "no" answer no if's and's or but's. I'm giving you a code and directions, I expect it to be followed.
6) PM me the profiles and wait until I accept to post.
7) I have the right to change anything if I feel it is necessary to do so.
++Profiles++
I will have notes in brackets, these will be deleted upon submiting your profile. If parts do not apply then delete these as well; for example: if I say Appears to be and you're a human...delete this part. It's for things like 222 looks like 10.

++Races++
+Humans+
No explanation needed hopefully...
+Dorrians+
General Appearance: They're humanoid with black talons. They have reptilian tails, some scales on other parts of their body, and typically have multi-colored hair. They have vibrant colorings (green, blue, hot pink). It's unheard of for a Dorrian to have one color. Their pupils are slitted like a snake's, cat's, or crocodile's. The females typically appear to be frail while the males can be rather intimidating in size.
General Disposition: They're proud, agressive and eager to fight. From a very young age they're raised to control their emotions so less fights break out.
"Habitat": They live in a village in a tropical climate. Their vibrant colors help them to blend into their enviroment when they go hunting.
Other: They're raised as a community so no Dorrian knows their parents. These humanoid creatures hatch out of eggs and develop within their eggs. Upon hatching they typically look like three year olds; they are only in their eggs for about a year. There are superstitions that a Dorrian's coloring is a sign of their disposition, for example: red means easily angered, blue means constantly depressed or calm. Last thing to know, they're carnivorous; they only eat meat. They prefer raw, fresh meat over older, cooked meat. Their bodies have adapted to this diet. They never let their tails touch the ground, to do so makes the Dorrian look lazy and like a slob. Dorrians' take great care of their appearance and hygene. It's improtant to look their best lest they lose respect and strength among their clan.
+Dotat+
General Appearance:
General Disposition: Energetic creatures who love increasing their menatl capabilities.
"Habitat": Dotats' came from a planet called Smoquwe. (Smock way) It was a frozen tundra placed far from any star. The planet was destoyed. They search for cold, frozen places to live.
Other: Their skin is transparent and they use it to blend it with their background. The only parts of them that are visible are their eyes and brain. It stops predators from seeing them. Dotats fight with telekinetic power. They have very low physical strength. They do not require food and absorb water from the air around them. If the air is dry. They can drink water or use the reserves in their body. They do not have genders or reproductive organs. One starts out as a brain the size of a marble and a body forms around it. The brain grows to any random size and then shrinks to twice the size as a marble. When that happens, it dies and two others spawn from that brain. They live for a long time, but there is no certain timespan. None of them know how their race was started.
+Auquetia+
General Appearance: Auquetia are in aquatic race, they They can only survive in water, but can stay on land for a few hours. Their bodies are generally clear to blend in with the clean, ocean water of their home planet, but if they are in a liquid of any color their bodies will blend in with it, so if an Auquetis was in red water it's body would turn into a clear shade of red so it can hunt easier. Their organs also are transparent. They have long fins across their bodies, but they have quite impresive dorsal fins which in some cases can peak at four feet, which is gigantic compared to the size of the species. They mesure usually from about seven to ten feet, making them the largest predator of their planet. They have long pointed faces with small holes for ears like most aquatic animalia species, but they have small spikes starting at a few inches above their emerald eyes which are about five inches long and peak over their necks, which like everything except the eyes are transparent. They have a storage of water located near the stomach that saves extra oxigen so the creature can survive on land for up to five hours, this is made possible because the creature breaths more air than needed. They have arms located under the body with a razor blade a the end and replaces hands or claws, making them good at hunting for the price of not being able to pick things up effiently.
General Disposition: Auquetia are generally vicious hunters and violent, but towards mates, friends or relatives they are surprisingly gentil and kind.
"Habitat": Terathe, the planet is covered completely in salt water, the only land being the core's outer layers, which is about one seventh of the planet. The planet's demise was caused by a chemical reaction inside the core of the planet, and the Auquetia ended up finding themselfs on an aquatic artificial planet from the A.P., or "Home"
Other: Auquetia have a very long lifespan, they have been known to live up to five-hundred years!
+Derag+
General Appearance: Large lizard creatures, the males are slightly larger than the females. They have pale white skin to minimize heat entering the body, but the skin is usually covered by sand. They usually have brown, green or blue eyes. They have sharp, jagged teeth and hook-like claws. They're tail as a small circular object at the end of it that's almost as hard as rock. Also, sometimes they can be seen carrying a shell on it's back, but this is actually a hollowed out rock that they may be lucky enough to find.
General Disposition: The Derag are very aggressive, and they dare challenge anything that oposses them, even their mate! The females aren't as brutal as the males, but they will still attack at first sign of danger. Because of this, Males attempting to mate with the female will have a hard time even getting close to the female, because she knows that they have high aggression. When young, the mother teaches the young Derags to spit in sand it finds and place it on it's body so it sticks. When the sand dries it makes a perfect camoflage layer, but it must be replaced after battle.
"Habitat": The Derag live in dry planets, preferably deserts. They're homes are small dens carved right into the surface of rocks!
Other: Since they live in desert planets, water is a problem. They're skin is attracted to water, so it acts as a compass for the Dorag to find water, wether it's in an Oisis or absorbed into the sand. They have a special organ in they're mouth that absorbs liquid and sends it to the stomach, keeping them from swallowing sand. Although not even the Derag themselves have proved it, they believe that the color of the eyes says what their health is. This is what they think:
Brown=healthy
Green=ill
Blue=diseased
They're claws are designed to grab objects like rocks and sand, but they can also be used as a weapon. They're teeth are perfect from slicing up they're pray of snakes and insects.
+ Charmeloid+
General Appearance: Unknown, due to the fact that they are constantly changing. But when kept solitarily, they due infact turn into Human.
General Disposition: Calm, but as their race changes, depending, they will have different personalities. When multiple race changes at once they become calm, merciful and slightly lazy.
"Habitat": Once again, they changge with the races around them, needing a different habitat. Although, during multiple race change, they can live on practicly any place, excluding water, being terrestrials.
Other: There are only 5 known Charmeloids, though it's thought there are more on the destroyed ship from there planet crashed bnear the Home.
+Lontravorda+
General Appearance: Large carnivoirous mammals that have the close resemblances to now extinct Earth Otters, altough humanoid, having bodies that are able to stand and speak, as well as having many elements of humans. (Same basic shape, e.t.c.) They have longer legs then humans, enabling then to move faster and have long tails. Lontravorda are adapted to water movement. They have opposable thumbs (in addition to their webbed hands and feet).
Their fur and markings are like that of a North American River Otter, brown at the top, light on the underside. (Of course, this is not the same for all, but for the majority.)
They have intellegences equalling or surpassing that of humans, and are just as social, mastering language, and having formed societies on their home planet which managed to reach the space age before the destruction of their world.
General Disposition: They are engineers, having a facination with building the most efficient and effective vehicles and devices possible. However, they are not lazy, so ideas for devices that make living as effortless as possible are unheard of among them. Like their relatives on Earth, long extinct, they are energetic and playful, altough they are able to be serious enough for them to be taken serious by the other races.
"Habitat": Water. Rivers. Streams. Anywhere close to water. They love it.
Other: Collaboration with human scientists have been unable to determine the origin of this species, and the resembalence to Earth Otters as a coincidence has been dissmissed as extremely unlikely.
+Avis+
General Appearance: The Avis look vaguely like humans, although with birdlike features and the odd coloration of eyes and hair, as well as feathers in their hair, the wings they can sprout from their backs at will, and their ability to turn into birds. Like Dorrians, their coloration (and feather pattern) tells much about their personality.
General Disposition: They're a very vibrant and diverse people, sharing very few hard and fast traits. Their main cultural commonality is a great sensuality- a focus on the beautiful, whether to the eyes, to the ears, to the touch, or whatever else. Art and music are particularly important to them, the former more due to their admittedly drab cave homes(however beautiful the mountains they may be a part of are), the latter more due to their birdlike use of song as a means of communication.
Another interesting result of this sensuality is a unique set of sexual morals that to a human would look like a lack thereof. The only solid rules they follow are these: incest is never ever tolerated, and rape is the worst crime anyone can ever commit.
They live long lives- an average of five or six centuries in human years
"Habitat": Craggy mountains, caves, and desert valleys
Other: Avis have a unique ability to manipulate the world around them-each from birth being able to control an element (water, fire, earth, light, darkness, plant life, wind, ice, etc
They’re also born with a ‘pair bond’, a twin in mind, although not in body. The two are inseperable for their first century, although after that they can and often do separate to pursue their own interests.

| Crimson wrote: | Name: Catori
Gender: female
Age: 16
Race: Dorrian
Personality: She's very proud and finds the world around her to be boring because she sees herself as better than it. Thanks to the way she was raised (as well as all Dorrians) she's able to hide this haughtiness beneath a schooled mask. Catori is actually better at controlling her emotions, or at least her expression, than most of her race. She is also relatively hard to provoke, but it's hard to tell what will set her off. She has a sadistic side; the only time she seems to be in a good mood is whenever someone or something is suffering. This is when you'll see her smile. No one knows when she's playing with a person or not.
Appearance: Her appearance is bizarre. She has the black talons of her race along with black eyes with light gray around her pupil. She's very pale despite her active lifestyle in the Dorrian "rain forest." Catori's strangest feature is her coloring. She's not a single coloring but she's not colorful like the other Dorrians. Her hair is pale white and her tail is black. Don't let her weak visage fool you, she's just as vicious as other Dorrians when it comes to fighting.
Reason(s) for being a possible successor: Her ability to control herself, this is supported by her colorings, and her promising strength.
Other: She recently gave a few young males several nasty scars for reasons she doesn't want to disclose. She's also resistant against saying what her coloring means. |
| GamerGuy wrote: | Name: TD23

Personality: Curious and likes to keep to himself. Feels bothered if he learns of something he doesn't know. Will persue the answer no matter the cost.
Appearance:
Reason(s) for being a possible successor: Knowledgable and strategic but does not wish to be a succesor.
Other: He is young for his race. Extrememly young. |
| Treeckomaster wrote: | Name: Tom Wind
Gender: M
Age: 21
Race: Human
Personality: Energetic, but a bit of a pessimist.
Appearance: Tall, muscular, thick black hair. Wears Jeans and a plain shirt, of various colours.
Reason(s) for being a possible successor: His sense of reality.
Other: Is vegetarian |
| Majora wrote: | Name: Anxus
Gender: Male
Age: 85
Race: Auquetia
Personality: Keen, wise but gullible , Anxus could easily spot a fish swiming inside a pitch-black cavern, he can give valuable information with his expansive knowledge but yet has a huge downside; he is extreemly gullible.
Appearance: He has a small splotch of green liquid inside him as a result of a problem when he was developing inside his mother; it messed up a small area of his camouflage and it is always a transparent green. Other than that he is pretty much normal.
Reason(s) for being a possible successor: He, being wise is makes him considerable, he is keen which might have him spot the "Perfect" balance and is old enough to do it greatly, but young enough to last for decades and centuries
Other: Because of the green area inside him, sometimes his prey spots him and jolts away. It only happens every once and a while, though. |
| Frostbite wrote: | Name: Raoul.
Gender: Male.
Age: 17.
Race: Derag
Personality: Like all Derag, highly aggressive, but also thoughtful and considerate. But those two personalities are unlike other Derag, so he is often mocked.
Appearance: He resembels most Derag, but his eyes are blue, so it is suspected he has a disease. The disease is making his saliva glands work less, so the amount of sand he can place on his body is limited. Also, for some strange reason, his hind claws seem to be shorter but harder.
Reason(s) for being a possible successor: He isn't afraid of taking charge. Also he is known to stand up for himself and others. But his aggression still doesnt change which causes a problem. but he makes up for that with extreme confidence.
Other: He was recently forced from his home in a cliff made of rock after a dust storm with tremendous emounts of energy collapsed the cliff. |
| ExtremeSpeed wrote: | Name: Shevangi Seychelles
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Appears to be: 18
Race: Lontravorda
Personality: Like a firecracker sometimes, but knowing the stereotype set for Lontravordas as being immature and excitable, she tries to defy that stereotype by attempting to be more serious then others of the same race. However, the stereotype is true, and she often fails.
Appearance: Normal. Green eyes and brown hair.
Reason(s) for being a possible successor: On top of all of the current technology, know the designs and everything, as well as having great ideas for new ones.
Other: Likes the color green and blue. Likes chinese food. Dislikes salty foods and cucumbers. |
| Queenofinsanity wrote: | Name: Eleni
Gender: female
Age: 135
Appears to be: 25
Race: Flame Avis
Personality: Eleni's barely clear of nestling status, but she's quickly becoming a hotshot due to her skills in flight and manipulation of her own element-fire.
This to some degree has gone to her head, although she tries very hard not to allow it to escalate to arrogance.
At her best, she’s kind and giving, willing to go to extremes to do the right thing or to help a friend
At her worst, she’s short tempered and impatient, as likely to harm as to help
She’s fiercely loyal, however, even though she isn’t always aware that her ways aren’t the ways of those around her-she’s blunt to a fault, acceptable among avis as that may be, others don’t always take kindly to her words.
She’s in many ways a personification of her element, equally capable of destruction and aid, very powerful and volatile when not treated with respect.
Appearance: Eleni’s humanoid form looks like a tall, thin woman of about 25, with flame red hair and vibrant green eyes. Her skin is fair, but not pale, and covered in scars from bad falls when she was younger, faded to pale shadows in the years since. The feathers buried in her hair are bright red, flecked with gold, with black tips.
Her wings in her half-form are half again her armspan, large and powerful enough to carry her in flight.
As a bird, she’s got the look of a predator, with a wicked hooked beak like a hawk’s, and deadly looking black talons. Her eyes also turn gold.
Reason(s) for being a possible successor: She’s a prime example of the Avis’ ways-fiercely sensual, in love with the beauty of the world(all kinds of beauty). She’s also a great communicator, expert in using words to say exactly what she means to say and nothing more. She’s also adapting well and quickly to the crafty ways of some other races-and a love of languages has made her proficient in the major languages of all ten races.
Given a bit of time to grow in her role, and she’ll fill it wonderfully
Other: Her pair bond, Lyric, has chosen the path of a scholar/singer at their great learning center, somewhat comparable to a human university. Avis pass on much of their knowledge through complicated songs passed down through generations, and it is considered a great honor to be chosen for such a role. Lyric’s wind abilities will prove useful in this vocation as well, enabling her to sing longer without needing a breath, or spin the song with the wind itself.
Eleni and Lyric are exceptionally close, even for pair-bonds, and have been known in the past to share even the secret knowledges of their trade- the allied knowledge of the two of them will make them both that much more powerful. |

Catori's gaze wandered around the room, resting briefly on those seated around the table. Everyone was present and on time; they were all hoping to make a good first impression. She was ravenous but waited with feigned patience for the apetizers to arrive. Over the last two weeks she had lost a noticeable amount of weight and had little sleep. Unlike humans who could only survive eleven days without sleep, Dorrians could go three weeks without sleep. That didn't mean they liked to. She had only gotten her first wink of sleep last night, the dark circles under her eyes proclaimed it had not been enough. Her body was sore, but she held herself with regal poise. Many of her kind were in this state of disaray at the moment, but they didn't have to meet the other canidates.
She glanced at the only other Dorrian at the table. He was far past his prime, his colors were fading slowly as time went by. The aged man had managed to escape the torture of the past weeks, only because of his age. Catori envied him for that, it was not something she had enjoyed in the least. She had many more to come, especially since she hadn't even reached her prime yet.
The dinner had hardly begun and she was already bored. All she wanted to do was eat and sleep, as primitive as it sounded. No where in Catori's lists of desires was play proper representative for her race. _________________

TD23's race was at the table, conversing with others. Learning more of their culture, wanting to know about their diversity. TD23, alone on the other side of the room, was reading through some of his notes, checking off the things he had learned. Everyday he writes down the new questions he comes up with. He had thought of 32 today and all but one had been answered. What was troubling that young creature? It seemed..... different compared to the rest of its race. He just did not know how or when to approach it. _________________

Tom was at the table with the others. He surveyed te Dorrian and the Dotat. He knew that they weren't human like him, but the question truly was, is he actually huuman? Each time a new race entered the the Commen, or "Home" he changed a little. He ccouldn't remember any parents, or relitives at all. And whenever he was in a sudden new enviorment he took a huge breath in, and adapted. At the moment he was generally a human, had a Dorrian tail (he kept it hidden) and was pale, almost see-through, like a Dotat.
He walked up to the Dotat sitting in the corner and interduced himself, "Hello my name is Tom. Uh... what's the matter on yoour paper?" _________________

Anxus was inside a small tank of water at the table instead of sitting, as he may have to stay out of his habitats ocean for well beyond five hours, just like the soon stepping down succesor. The tank was just big enough for him to fit in, he'd lift his head out when he was speaking and submerged it when he was listening or waiting. He was contantly poking his gaze around at the other races, there were the weak humanoides, two Dorrian, some Dotat and some freaky mix of the three. It was constantly hard to not have the water splash at the others, but he found a way to keep his tailfin from bobbing. He wanted to start some small conversation while they waited, so he spoke. "Ssssss.... Skaassss?" (So, what is it like on your planets?) _________________

(I'm sorry, I meant thaat Tom was trying to hide what was happening. He hides all extras. You [understandbly{sp}] called me a freak, exactly what he didn't want to happen)
Tom suddenly yelped. His eyesight had turned green, and the floor revealed his once brown eyes a shade of Emerald. When he looked up, he saw the Aquetia looking at him oddly. He also noticed a Derag. Luckily, he had not gotten a Derag charatritic(sp), till he felt a lump on his tail. He knew what had happened. Then he noticed the Aquetia's question and said, "I can't really remember... Earth... it's odd I know but still..." _________________

Anxus rolled his eyes before responding.
"Sssss... Ssssskaaaa.. Sdaassssss! Shassssss... sosassss "Sssaa"." (Well of course you don't, earth was destroyed a millenium ago! I meant your "Habitat". _________________

Raoul scanned his eyes across the table. He was unfimalliar with the races, but he knew their names and could easily reconize them. He reconized 2 Dorrian, a Dotat, an Auquetia, numorous humanoids and something that was human, but Raoul found it hard to believe.
"Daahrrga Kidarg molodaug..." (But Auxus, you asked what their planet what like, not habitat...). Raoul flexed his claws a bit and hid them again. But he saw something from the thing that was suposed to be a humanoid. He noticed a bump on something he was hiding.
"Jargau daaghre igure?"(What is that your hiding, Tom?) asked Raoul. _________________

The pale Dorrian resisted rolling her eyes. They had all lost their home planets a millenia ago, that's why they were all able to create "Home." She hoped this human wasn't all that dim witted, if he were to succeed the current panel member she'd have a never ending headache.
The apetizers finally came. Most of it had some sort of vegetable or fruit in them so she passed on them.
Raoul made his comment about the habitats and Catori couldn't help but respond. "The habitats are also called planets just like the A.P. is also called "Home"." Her voice was bland and her gaze was on the wall in front of her. This was so annoying, but the Dorrian kept her face blank. She almost wished she wouldn't become a Panel member just to avoid these idiots. _________________

((Dorrian speak english?! o_O))
Anxus stared briefly at Catori's facial expression, and had to react. "Sss... Skaaa..... Zitss, Cassstosissss." (I hope that buged expression doesn't have to do with me, Catori.) He examined the apetizers briefly, but he ignored them "Sss.... Sggssss.... Skat!" (Ugh... No fish!) "Stomsss.... Sskta ssssaaaaa!" (You won't be a succesor if you don't smarten up, though humains aren't what I'd call "Intelligent") _________________

"Draguli fagyu hibbuiyasr exilu, gurai sivu..." (A habitat is not a planet. Most of the time it's only part of one, but if you insist...) said Raoul. But after reading Catori's expression through her face and spoke again.
"Guruh... Higari safimugh!" (I have a feeling your insulting us in your mind. The Derag may not be very smart, but we're still smart enough to read expression. I'm not afraid to shred you in two!) shouted Raoul. _________________

((She can speak it if she wants too *is too lazy to bother making some language up*))
Her gaze slid to the Aquetia. She could feel her superior's attention was focused on her. He didn't have to be looking at her, it was obvious by his tense posture.
"Please don't flatter yourself more than necessary, dear Anxus," She said coolly.
Catori came to the human's defense, if only to save herself from the irritation. "I must have missed the message where we were asked to insult other races, especially those that may become our peers."
The tip of her black tail swayed back and forth an inch above the ground. It did so partially out of boredom and irritation. She hoped the main course of the dinner would be more suited to her palate. Her eyes slowly trained themselves upon the analog clock in the room. It was supposed to add some "class" as the humans called it. She called it a tease for moving so slowly, every second she went without food in her stomach.
Edit: Catori looked Raoul in the eyes, her expression was blank as always. She knew it had never dropped. "Raoul, I believe you are jumping to conclusions. Dorrians are proud not pompous." It was a lie, oh well. She simply did not have the desire to fight, who knew how long she'd last. Her body was weakened, if she were her normal self she would not be so cautious.
"As for my expression," she continued, "it has not changed this entire evening. How in the world could you determine something like that? It's rather insulting that you think that way of me. I assure you, I do not see you in such a dark light." _________________

(Sorry I have gotten a little behind.)
TD23 looked up to a human. He didn't like having to answer others questions. "Notes," spoke Dotat. He then wondered of to another corner. He then wrote down another question: Why did the human come to him? He then walked back to Tom and said, friendly, "How is it going, Tom?" _________________

Raoul's blue eyes glittered from the light. He feared what would happened if he striked, as much as his body was pulling him towards Catori and send his hard tail slamming into her face, so he scratched the table with his claws to let his urge for killing away. But then he laughed.
"Gyrui jalipo wiqun! Jaykomundoi laibuga!" (Fool! reading expression isn't all facial expression! Even a Dranco snake that lived on my races planet 1 millenia ago knows that!) laughed Raoul.
"Riabung, kialo gigils torug." (Other things like speench and body action influence the likebility for others to tell your emotion.) he continued. He finally noticed the apitizer.
"Guba ungia!? Yigu fungiu dicestaug!" (No meat?! What do these foolish humans think we eat, lettuce?!) said Raoul. _________________

"If memory serves," Catori began, "my voice has given no implication that I thought less of anyone here. If I were insulting anyone, mentally as you said, why would I have defended Mr. Wind?"
She paused meaningfully before speaking again. "Between the two of us Raoul you've insulted others far more than I have. Please don't accuse others who have done nothing when you have commited the action yourself multiple times, it's rather hypocritical." Her voice was even and controlled. The elder Dorrian had continued to tense, the situation was becoming more volital and a fight might break out at any moment. The two Dorrians knew that Catori's body would probably give out.
The pale Dorrian knew the others could tell too. Her skin was tighter than usual and the bags under her eyes were clear implications of a weakened state. There was no way they could miss it. Catori may be carrying herself like a proper Dorrian, but she felt like passing out.
She was tempted to ask if Raoul was disappointed that he would not have a chance to gourge himself yet, but she resisted. Her age may be less than the others, save the Dotat, but she did not lack control. _________________
